TalkPlus is a high achieving NHS Talking Therapies provider. We offer a core service focused on evidence-based therapy for anxiety and low mood, and well-established integrated pathways, working with people with Long-Term Physical Health Conditions.
We have a fantastic team of high and low intensity Cognitive Behavioural Therapists and working alongside them is a committed team of counsellors and clinical and counselling psychologists.

What we do
Our Service is maintained by an outstanding Operations Team, offering support to the whole clinical team as well as ensuring our patients find their way smoothly into and through our service.

TalkPlus is now recruiting for Trainee Psychological Wellbeing Practitioners (PWP). This is a training role within the NHS talking therapies service.
The post-holder will work within the talking therapies service providing high volume, low intensity interventions whilst undertaking a programme of training for this role. The training post will equip the post–holder to provide a range of cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT) based self-management interventions to clients with mild to moderate anxiety and depression. The post-holder will attend all taught and self-study days required by Reading University as specified within National Low Intensity curriculum and work in the service for the remaining days of the week using their newly developed skills.
The post holder will work with people with different cultural backgrounds and ages, using interpreters when necessary and should be committed to equal opportunities.
This is a training role within the NHS talking therapies programme and the trainee will take an active role in the service.
